BC21R V3.0 is a multifunctional flashlight that can be mounted on the handlebars or a bicycle helmet and used as a regular handheld flashlight. The flashlight has a lightweight construction made of anodized aluminum, which ensures proper heat dissipation and guarantees its resistance to complete immersion in water (up to 2 m), a fall from a height of 1.5 m, dust and fine particles. The high IP68 protection class makes the flashlight ideal for use in harsh weather conditions, whether in the city, in the forest or when riding in the mountains. Thanks to its small size, low weight (157 g with battery) and quick release function from the handlebar, the BC21R V3.0 bicycle flashlight can also be used as a regular handheld flashlight. If the ALD-08 adapter is provided, the flashlight can be attached to the cyclist's helmet, which additionally allows the flashlight to be used as a headlamp when hands are needed. The bicycle mount has a function that allows you to quickly remove the flashlight from the handlebar. To do this, simply press the locking lever and slide the flashlight out of the mount. The set includes silicone adapters that allow you to precisely adjust the mount to handlebars with a diameter of 28-35 mm. They also allow you to adjust and lock the flashlight's tilt in a range of 15°. The Fenix ​​BC21R V3.0 flashlight uses the Luminus SST40 LED, emitting a maximum light flux of up to 1200 lumens. The emitted light is neutral in color, does not tire the eyes, ensures faithful color reproduction and the ability to recognize more details in night vision conditions. The maximum distance of reflected light in turbo mode is 142 m, which ensures excellent visibility in both urban and desert conditions and the ability to react early to traffic situations. The Fenix ​​BC21R has a wide light beam, which provides a comfortable field of view, especially when driving around corners or on uneven terrain. Power source The power source is a 2600 mAh 18650 battery, which, when charged, provides almost 10 hours of operation in 600 lumen mode or up to 132 minutes in 1200 lumen turbo mode (total operating time). The battery is charged via the built-in USB-C connector, so we do not need to worry about purchasing an additional charger. The high 2A charging current allows you to fully charge the included battery in just 2 hours. It is worth noting that you can use the flashlight while charging (only in low and medium mode), although this will, of course, affect the battery charging time. You can monitor the battery charge level thanks to the LED diode on the switch, which simply and clearly informs you about the power status (the function only works with Fenix ​​ARB-L18 series 18650 batteries). Alternatively, you can use disposable CR123A batteries to power the flashlight. Battery charge level indicator status:

• Red flashing LED: critical level 1-25%.
• red LED: low level 25-50%
• green flashing LED: average level 50-85%
• green LED: high level 85-100%

"Fenix ​​BC21R V3.0" has 4 continuous lighting modes: low→medium→high→turbo and 400 lumen flash. A single metal button is used to turn on/off and change the brightness, and also activates the battery charge level indicator. Simple and intuitive operation is an undoubted advantage of a bicycle flashlight, especially in busy urban areas. The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level. When the flashlight is turned on again, it automatically turns on in this mode (memory function). When the set voltage level drops, a low battery warning is automatically activated (flashing battery level indicator LED). The flashlight also has overheating protection in turbo mode. To ensure the safety of the electronics, the controller automatically reduces the brightness by several lumens when the temperature reaches 60° C to enable turbo mode again. The light's performance was tested under laboratory conditions using an ARB-L18-2600 battery.
