Construction
Fenix LR50R is the latest long-range searchlight, combining impressive light performance and excellent functionality in a relatively lightweight and compact device. The 163 mm long body is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, which is finished with HAIII anodizing, creating a durable protective coating with high resistance to scratches and abrasion. The transverse groove of the head acts as a radiator, dissipating excess heat emitted by a set of 4 powerful LED beams. The massive head is finished with a raised steel ring, so the flashlight can be placed vertically without risking damage to the optics. The milling of the body improves grip and hold of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. Thanks to the flat base, the flashlight can be placed vertically ("candle" function) and effectively illuminate the interior of the object or cave being explored. There is a clip on the back for attaching a lanyard or safety rope. In addition, the flashlight has a metal belt clip that, when unscrewed, reveals a threaded socket compatible with standard photographic tripod connections.The darkness will not hide
Impressive light performance is achieved by using 4 Cree SST70 LEDs and smooth reflectors that reflect up to 12,000 lumens of light at a distance of up to 950 m. Smart proximity sensor
The flashlight uses a smart sensor that automatically recognizes when the head is too close to the ground. When the flashlight exceeds a distance of 60 mm from the ground and illuminates it for 1.5 seconds, the flashlight automatically reduces the brightness level (to eco mode).Convenient use
The flashlight is distinguished by a very simple and user-friendly interface, divided into main and additional modes. Separate steel buttons are used to turn on and change the light modes, which are characterized by high sensitivity and resistance to mechanical damage. Due to the arrangement of the switches on the side of the flashlight (under the thumb), use and change of light parameters is very intuitive and convenient. In addition, the Fenix LR50R has a lock function that prevents uncontrolled switching on of the flashlight during transportation. To do this, press and hold the switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. To turn off the lock, the same steps must be performed. Great convenience - an LED indicator showing the battery charge status, activated by one press of any switch (the flashlight is off). Fenix LR50R is powered by a powerful 12,000 mAh ARB-L52-16000 rechargeable battery, with which the flashlight can operate for up to 4 days in ecco mode (50 lumens) or 45 minutes in turbo mode (12,000 lumens). The flashlight can use an alternative energy source - 4 21700 batteries (not included). Thanks to the USB-C connector and support for PD3.0 / PD2, QC3.0 and QC2.0 fast charging protocols, we can charge the ARB-L52-16000 battery in just a few hours. The high-capacity battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight to be used as a power bank, so in a crisis situation we can charge a phone or PMR radio. The sockets are protected from moisture, rain and dust with sealed rubber plugs.Additional features:
To ensure safety and proper operation, the Fenix LR50R has overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning. The flashlight has a high IP68 rating, which means it is completely resistant to dust and dirt, small solid objects, complete immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m) and a drop from a height of 1 meter. All light and durability parameters of the flashlight comply with ANSI/PLATO FL1 standards. The parameters given are obtained under laboratory conditions.
