The white light source is a COB LED emitter with a maximum output of 2000 lumens, allowing it to illuminate an area with an extremely wide 160° angle up to 50 meters away. The simple design of the COB LED panel allows it to generate a strong beam (it has a much better lumens to watts ratio) while consuming little energy, which is why this type of emitter is increasingly replacing traditional halogen lamps. The most important feature of the COB LED panel is that it emits a uniform light flux with high optical density. The COB LED beam consists of several LEDs grouped and connected directly on a single chip/board – hence the name COB (Chip On Board).

The user has 3 white light brightness settings: high (2000 lumens), medium (1000 lumens), low (10 lumens) and 2 red light modes, i.e. continuous and flashing light with a flow of 9 lumens. adjusting the lighting to your needs. It is worth emphasizing that the total operating time of the flashlight in turbo 2000 lumen mode is almost 9 hours! A large knob with a textured surface is used to change the brightness level.

The red LED light is perfect for tasks that require night vision, and can also act as an emergency or rescue light. A separate button on the top of the lamp is used to turn on the red light.

The most unique feature of the Fenix ​​CL28R photography lamp is the light color temperature adjustment system, which allows you to smoothly change the colors in the range from 2700 K to 6000 K. This feature makes the Fenix ​​CL28R lamp perfect for night photography. The warm color of the light has a very high CRI coefficient, so the objects photographed in this light have such natural colors as if they were illuminated by sunlight. Smooth, stepless adjustment of the light color is carried out using a knurled knob.

The built-in battery with an impressive 10,000 mAh capacity provides up to 15 days of continuous lighting in low mode or up to 9 hours in turbo mode (total time). It is worth emphasizing that the CL28R outdoor lamp can also act as a power bank, thanks to which we can charge a phone or tablet. The built-in USB-C port with QC protocol charges the huge 10,000 mAh battery in just 4 hours. The socket is protected from moisture, water and dust by a rubber plug. We can check the battery level at any time. To do this, simply turn off the flashlight and press the orange button once (to activate the red light). The LED indicator informs us about the battery status for 3 seconds as follows:

• three LEDs: 80-60%,
• two LEDs: 60-40%,
• one LED: 40-20%
• one flashing diode: 20-1%

The CL28R halogen bracket rotates 360° and features a magnetic base and threaded socket that allows you to attach the lamp to metal surfaces and mount it on any photographic tripod.
