The main light source of the flashlight is a powerful Cree XM-L2 U2 LED, emitting a maximum luminous flux of 1000 lumens, the cold color of which is recommended for any work that requires intensity and maximum brightness. The light reflected from the flat reflector has a fairly concentrated beam with an operating range of up to 163 m. In addition to the high-beam emitter, the flashlight uses a second smaller XP-G2 R5 LED (neutral color) and a collimating lens, which evenly disperses the light and provides very effective and uniform illumination at close range. Of course, the flashlight has an angle adjustment, which is done by tilting the entire flashlight module. The Fenix ​​HM65R flashlight is powered by a 18650 rechargeable battery (included), which can also be replaced with 2 disposable CR123 batteries. However, we recommend using a 18650 rechargeable battery, which ensures full light output and longer flashlight operation. This model is equipped with a USB-C connector, which allows you to charge the battery with a high current of 1.5 A without removing it from the device. This is a very functional solution when you plan to work with the headlamp for a long time.

Using two buttons, the flashlight is very simple and convenient to operate, and most importantly, you do not need to remove the flashlight from your head. Each flashlight is controlled by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness level. The long-range XM-L2 U2 emitter offers 4 modes: turbo (1000 lumens), high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens), low (50 lumens). The diffuse light emitter XP-G2 R5 has 3 modes: high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens) and low (8 lumens). In 1000 lumen mode, the flashlight operates for up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used). By turning on two LEDs at the same time, the flashlight power can be increased to 1400 lumens. The Fenix ​​HM65R flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect battery installation. The flashlight has a high IP68 protection class, which means that it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain and even complete immersion in water (2 m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, the HM65R can be successfully used in any weather conditions, during virtually any physical activity. Comfortable wearing of the flashlight on the head is ensured by an improved rubber band that wipes away sweat and has reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail.
