Construction
The Fenix LR80R is a professional long-range flashlight that combines impressive light output, excellent functionality and reliability, making it ideal for search and rescue, exploration and industrial applications. The 259 mm long body is made of A6061-T6 aerospace aluminum and is protected by HAIII hard anodizing, which creates a durable protective coating with high resistance to scratches and abrasion. The deep groove in the head acts as a radiator, dissipating excess heat generated by the set of 6 powerful LED beams. The massive head is finished with a raised steel ring, so the flashlight can be placed vertically without risking damage to the optics. The milling of the body improves grip and hold of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. The flat base allows the flashlight to be placed vertically ("candle" function) and effectively illuminate the interior of the object or cave being explored. There is a clip on the back for attaching a lanyard or safety rope. The flashlight additionally has a metal handle (removable) for easy control of the flashlight. The Fenix LR80R also has a metal belt clip, which when unscrewed reveals a threaded socket compatible with standard photographic tripod connections.The darkness will not hide
Impressive light characteristics are achieved thanks to the use of as many as 6 Cree SST70 LEDs and smooth reflectors, which reflect as much as 18,000 lumens of light flux at a distance of as much as 1130 m. This distance corresponds to the length of 11 full-size football fields (FIFA rules). 98% transmittance tempered glass is coated with anti-reflective coating, so light loss is reduced to a minimum. A powerful 75° wide beam can be used in search and rescue operations, exploration and extreme tourism, as well as for observing objects. Convenient use The flashlight is distinguished by a simple and user-friendly interface, divided into 2 groups of light modes: powerful and standard. There are 2 steel buttons (separate for each group) for turning on and changing the light intensity, characterized by high sensitivity and increased resistance to mechanical damage. The placement of the switches on the side of the flashlight (under your thumb) makes using and changing the light settings very intuitive and convenient. Smart proximity sensor
The flashlight uses a smart proximity sensor that automatically detects when the head is too close to the ground. When the flashlight is more than 60 mm from the ground and shines for 1.5 seconds, the flashlight automatically reduces the brightness level (to eco mode). When the flashlight head moves away from the illuminated object for more than 0.8 seconds, the flashlight controller automatically returns to the previously used brightness level. In addition, the Fenix LR80R has a lock function to prevent uncontrolled switching on of the flashlight when transporting it. To do this, press and hold the switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. To turn off the lock, the same steps must be performed. Great convenience - an LED indicator showing the battery charge status is turned on with one press of any switch (the flashlight is off). Fenix LR80R is powered by a powerful 12,000 mAh 7.2 V rechargeable battery, with which the flashlight can operate for up to 12 days in ecco mode (50 lumens) or 120 minutes in turbo mode (18,000 lumens). Thanks to the 45 W USB-C connector and support for PD3.0 / PD2, QC3.0 and QC2.0 fast charging protocols, the battery can be charged in just 4 hours. The high-capacity battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight to be used as a power bank, so in a crisis situation we can charge a phone or PMR radio. The sockets are protected from moisture, rain and dust with sealed rubber plugs.Additional features:

The flashlight has a high IP68 rating, which means it is completely resistant to dust and dirt, small solid objects, complete immersion in water (30 minutes at a depth of 2 m) and a drop from a height of 1 meter. All light and durability parameters of the flashlight comply with ANSI/PLATO FL1 standards. The parameters given are obtained under laboratory conditions.
