The Fenix ​​​​​​LR40R V2.0 is a new version of the portable flashlight, which after modernization offers a light output of 15,000 lumens, increased distance to 900 meters and 25% longer runtime.

The Fenix ​​​​LR40R V2.0 is another spotlight from the Fenix ​​​​brand offering, which combines impressive light parameters, small size and weight, and excellent functionality.

The 175 mm long body is made of aircraft aluminum, coated with the HAIII anodizing process, creating a durable protective coating with high resistance to scratches and abrasion. The transverse grooves of the head act as a heat sink, the task of which is to dissipate excess heat emitted by a set of 17 LED beams. The tempered glass with a transmittance of 98% is coated with an anti-reflective coating, thereby reducing light loss to a minimum. The wide head is covered with a raised steel ring that allows you to set the flashlight vertically without risking damaging the optical system. The milling of the body improves the grip and grip of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. Thanks to the flat base, the flashlight can be placed vertically ("candle" function) and effectively illuminate the interior of the object under study. There is a hook on the back for attaching a leash or safety rope.

The impressive parameters of the flashlight are achieved by using two emitting groups, namely 16 Lumileds HL2X diodes (max. 12,000 lumens), responsible for diffused light and 1 Luminus SFT70 diode (max. 3,000 lumens), emitting focused light. The user can use each mode separately or turn on all emitters, thus obtaining a light with a total flux of 15,000 lumens and an operating range of over 900 m! The user can, of course, adjust the brightness level and use additional flash modes - SOS and strobe.

Fenix ​​​​​​LR40R V2.0 - professional flashlight for rescue and search operations
In the second generation of the flashlight, the way the flashlight works has been significantly changed. The manufacturer used a unique rotary switch and an electronic switch that allows you to easily control 16 light settings. Thanks to this feature, we can conveniently control the flashlight with one hand and quickly turn on the lighting at the intensity that is needed in a particular situation. Due to the location of the switches on the side of the flashlight (under the thumb), using and changing the light parameters is very intuitive and convenient.

The Fenix ​​​​​​LR40R V2.0 also has a switch lock that prevents uncontrolled switching on of the light during transportation. To do this, simply set the ring to the locked position. The flashlight uses a smart proximity sensor that automatically detects when the head is too close to the illuminated object. When the distance from the object/wall, etc. is reduced below 60 mm and illuminated for 1.8 seconds, the flashlight automatically reduces the brightness level (to eco mode). When the flashlight moves away from the illuminated object, the flashlight controller automatically restores the previous brightness level.

A great convenience is the LED indicator that informs about the battery charge status, activated with a single press of any switch (flashlight off).

Fenix ​​​​​​LR40R V2.0​ is powered by a built-in 15,000 mAh (3 × 5,000 mAh) battery (non-removable), with which the flashlight can operate for more than a week in ecco mode (10 lumens) or 150 minutes in turbo mode - 15,000 lumens (total operating time). Using the USB-C port and QC2.0 fast charging protocols, the 15,000 mAh battery can be charged in just 4 hours.

The flashlight also has a USB-C port, thanks to which the Fenix ​​​​LR40R V2.0 can also act as a power bank, allowing you to quickly charge a smartphone or other device. The sockets are protected from moisture, rain and dust with sealed rubber plugs.

To ensure safety and proper operation, the Fenix ​​​​LR40R V2.0 has overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning. The flashlight has a high protection rating of IP68, which means it is completely resistant to dust, small solid objects, complete immersion in water (up to 2 m for 30 minutes) and drops from 1 meter.

All parameters of the flashlight's light and durability meet ANSI/PLATO FL1 standards.

The parameters presented are obtained under laboratory conditions. Three built-in 5000 mAh batteries were used during testing.
