Fenix WF05E is the first Fenix flashlight to be spark-proof and certified according to IECEx, ATEX and SGS requirements, so it can be used in the most dangerous explosion zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Fenix WF05E is a small, lightweight and easily portable flashlight that emits a small but completely safe light output of 85 lumens. The flashlight tube is made of lightweight aviation aluminum - an alloy that is resistant to oxidation and mechanical damage. The flashlight can be conveniently carried in a pocket or holder, as it uses a polymer clip with antistatic and explosion-proof properties. The light source is the popular Cree XP-G2 diode, emitting a neutral color beam, the illumination of which does not tire the eyes, and the illuminated objects more accurately reflect their colors and details. You can turn on, turn off and change the brightness by turning the flashlight head. The user can choose from 3 brightness modes: high 85 lumens, medium 30 lumens and low 10 lumens. The flashlight is powered by two AA alkaline batteries. The manufacturer indicates that only batteries specified by the manufacturer should be used. Fenix WF05E has physical protection against reverse polarity and a high IP68 rating, which means that the device is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain, complete immersion in 2 mm of water (30 minutes) and drops from a height of 1 m. Fenix WF05E has undergone rigorous testing and is IECEx, ATEX and SGS certified, so it can operate in extremely hazardous environments, i.e.:
- Zone 1 - a room in which, during normal use, an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances in the form of gas, mist, or vapor may occasionally form.
- Zone 2 - a space in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances (in the form of gas, mist, vapor) does not normally occur during normal use, but there is a short-term risk of its occurrence.
- Zone 21 - a space in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a cloud of combustible dust in the air may occasionally occur in normal use
- Zone 22 - a space in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a cloud of combustible dust in the air does not occur during normal use, but there is a risk of its occurrence and for a short duration.
