Fenix HM65R is a limited edition version of the new headlamp with two light emitters with a total light output of 1400 lumens, a USB-C charging system and a sturdy aluminum body. The flashlight has a strong and durable body made of magnesium alloy - a material resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions. The flashlight has a compact and lightweight design, without external wires, which makes it very convenient to use and is perfect for any outdoor activity, from caving, camping to evening running. The main light source of the flashlight is a powerful Cree XM-L2 U2 LED, emitting a maximum light output of 1000 lumens, the cold color of which is recommended for any work that requires intensity and maximum brightness. The light reflected from the smooth reflector has a fairly concentrated beam with an operating range of up to 140 m. In addition to the high-beam emitter, the lamp uses a second smaller XP-G2 R5 LED (neutral color) and a collimating lens, which evenly disperses the light and provides very efficient and even illumination at close range. Of course, the flashlight has an angle adjustment, which is carried out by tilting the entire flashlight module. The Fenix HM65R flashlight is powered by a 18650 rechargeable battery (included), which can also be replaced with 2 disposable CR123 batteries. However, we recommend using a 18650 rechargeable battery, which ensures full light output and longer flashlight operation. This model is equipped with a USB-C connector, which allows you to charge the battery without removing it from the device. This is a very functional solution when you plan to work with a headlamp for a long time. Thanks to the use of two buttons, controlling the flashlight is very simple and convenient, and most importantly, you do not need to remove the flashlight from your head. Each beam is controlled by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness level. The long-range beam offers 5 modes: turbo (1000 lumens), high II (600 lumens), high I (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens), low (50 lumens). The diffused light emitter has 3 modes: high (400 lumens), medium (150 lumens) and low (8 lumens). At the maximum 1000 lumen mode, the flashlight operates for up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used). When two LEDs are turned on at the same time, a total output of 1400 lumens is created! In the limited HM65R version, the driver provides linear operation, which means that in a given mode the flashlight operates until the battery runs out, without automatically reducing the flow. The Fenix HM65R flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection to prevent incorrect battery insertion. The flashlight has a high IP68 protection class, which means that it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain and even complete immersion in water (2 m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, the HM65R can be successfully used in any weather conditions, in almost any physical activity. Comfortable wearing of the flashlight on the head is ensured by an improved rubber band that wipes away sweat and has reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail. The parameters given were obtained in laboratory conditions. The Fenix ARB-L18 18650 3400 mAh 3.6 V battery was used during the tests.
