The Fenix ​​HP25R V2.0 is a new-look professional headlamp that, after improvements, emits 1600 lumens of light, has a range of up to 290 m, and is powered by a 21700 battery with a capacity of up to 5000 mAh.

Modular design

The flashlight has a sturdy housing cast from aircraft-grade aluminum. The lightweight aluminum alloy effectively dissipates heat generated during lighting and is resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions. The flashlight consists of 3 main components: a light module, a separate power container and an elastic band. The external power container has a longer cord for convenient wearing on a helmet or attached headgear. Seven clips are included to keep the power cord well organized and securely attached. A reflective insert is placed on the container to make it more visible when illuminated. Advantages of the external container:

• allows you to charge the battery while working (built-in USB-C port),

Light for various purposes

The main light source of the flashlight is a cold-colored SST40 LED, which emits a maximum luminous flux of 1600 lumens. Such impressive illumination allows you to illuminate a large cave, slope or forest wall at a distance of up to 290 meters. White light illuminates distant areas better, and also gives the impression that the light is much brighter. The light from the main diode is reflected from a smooth reflector and creates a well-focused beam with a maximum range of more than 290 meters - useful for exploring, exploring passages and admiring distant objects. Such impressive performance is achieved in part due to the use of tempered ultra-clear glass with a high-light transmission anti-reflective coating, a coated and smooth reflector that precisely focuses the diode light. In addition to the high-beam diode, the headlamp uses 2 more LEDs: a neutral-color XP-G3 S4 and a red Everlight 2835 LED. The Cree XPG-3 S4 emits warm-colored light (3500 K) with a high color rendering index of CRI 75. This means that colors are reproduced better than with cold light, and illuminated objects look natural. The light from small-beam emitters is diffused using collimating lenses. The wider and more evenly diffused beam is ideal for illuminating a workplace or camp, and will be appreciated by photography enthusiasts and those who, even while spending the night in the forest, will not refuse to read "on their pillow". In winter, using a flashlight with neutral light will avoid unpleasant reflections from the light reflected from snow or ice. The flashlight has an adjustable light angle (up to 60°), which is achieved by tilting the flashlight module forward.

USB-C charging port

The Fenix ​​HP25R v2.0 flashlight is powered by a 21700 Fenix ​​ARB-L21-5000 lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of as much as 5000 mAh, which can be replaced with a standard 18650 cell if necessary. A charged battery provides up to 800 hours of operation in red light flash mode (5 lumens) or 2 hours of main LED illumination in turbo mode (1600 lumens). If you want to extend the flashlight's operating time, simply connect a high-capacity portable power bank to the built-in USB-C port. The USB-C port provides a high charging current of 2 A, so the battery can be charged in just 4 hours. Charging via the USB-C port is carried out without removing the battery from the flashlight. This functional and convenient solution has already been appreciated by many mountain enthusiasts, survivalists and travelers.

Convenient control

The two buttons make it very easy and convenient to operate the flashlight, and most importantly, you don't have to take it off your head. The enlarged on/off switches have been placed on the top of the headlamp, making them easier to find and more convenient to operate when wearing gloves. The switch on the right side turns the focused light on/off and changes the brightness, while the button on the left performs the same functions for the diffused and red light. The long-range LED offers 5 operating modes (right button):

• Turbo 1600 lumens - for exploring caves and illuminating distant objects
• high 1000 lumens - optimal lighting for running, night hikes
• average 400 lumens - ensures long operating time
• small 150 lumens - discreet light, used in cases where the longest possible operating time is required,
• eco - maximum operating time.

The diffused light has 3 modes (left button):

• Large 400 lumens - optimal light for work, camping
• average 150 lumens - efficient light for illuminating a small space
• small 5 lumens - discreet light, used in situations where you want to work as long as possible.

The red LED provides 2 operating modes:

• small 5 lumens - discreet red light for use at night,
• flashing 5 lumens - warning light.

Comfortable strap on the arm

Comfortable wearing of the flashlight on the head is ensured by an elastic rubber band, which is responsible for comfort and effective sweat removal during physical exertion. An additional stabilizing strap and a set of clips allow you to easily adjust the headband to the user, as well as attach it to a safety helmet.

Advanced security features

Fenix ​​HP25R V2.0 has protection against reverse polarity (incorrect battery insertion), which can damage the electronics. The flashlight also has overheating protection, which is initiated automatically when the temperature set by the manufacturer is reached. This model additionally has a lock mode that protects the flashlight from accidental switching on during transportation. The flashlight has a high protection class IP66, which means that it is resistant to dust, dust, heavy rain and short-term immersion in water. Therefore, the HP25R V2.0 can be successfully used in any weather conditions, regardless of physical activity. The parameters given were obtained under laboratory conditions.
