The Fenix ​​​​​​BC25R is a lightweight bicycle flashlight with a beam of 600 lumens and a range of 106 m, specially designed to work in urban environments.

Housing

The compact flashlight body is made of anodized aluminum, which allows for proper heat dissipation and protects against rain and dust (IP66 class). Due to its small size, low weight and quick release function, the Fenix ​​​​BC25R can also be used as a standard handheld flashlight. The above-mentioned bicycle mount has a quick release function for the flashlight. To do this, simply press the locking lever and pull the lamp out of the mount.

Optical system

The Fenix ​​​​​​BC25R flashlight uses a CREE XP-G3 diode, emitting a maximum light output of 600 lumens, with a range of 106 m. The light is neutral in color, does not tire the eyes, ensures reliable color reproduction and the ability to recognize more details in night vision conditions. Unlike standard bicycle flashlights, the optical system is designed so as not to dazzle other road users. The specially designed reflector (orange peel) has an innovative cut-off line that blocks the upper part of the light beam. As a result, the flashlight illuminates only the road through the wheel to the height of the handlebars, without negatively affecting the vision of drivers and passers-by. The maximum light range is 106 m, which in urban conditions ensures excellent visibility and the ability to react early to the situation on the road. Power source The power source is a built-in 2600 mAh lithium-ion battery, which after charging provides 2 hours of operation in the maximum 600 lumen mode and 36 hours in the low 50 lumen mode. The battery is charged via a micro USB port, so we will not have to worry about purchasing a charger and spare batteries. We can control the battery charge level thanks to the LED indicator, which simply and clearly provides information about the energy status.

Battery level indicator status:

• one diode: critical level 0-25%
• two diodes: low level 26-50%
• three diodes: average level 51-85%
• four diodes: high level 86-100%

Additional features

The flashlight remembers the last brightness level used. When turned on again, the flashlight automatically turns on in this mode (memory function). The low battery warning is automatically activated when the set voltage level drops (the battery level indicator LED flashes). The flashlight also has overheating protection in turbo mode. To reduce the temperature, the controller reduces the brightness by a few lumens, which allows you to turn on turbo mode again.
